Understanding your Options for Partial Retirement and other Pension Flexibilities
Did you know that you can now take up to 100% of your pension and continue to work?
The option for Partial Retirement is already available to members with 2008 Section and 2015 Pension Scheme benefits, however, from the 1st October 2023, the NHS Pension Scheme regulations changed which means that members with 1995 Section benefits can now also take Partial Retirement (please note this is subject to agreement with your employer).
If you are thinking about your retirement income options and want to understand more about the flexible ways in which you could take your pension, especially the option for Partial Retirement (also known as Draw Down), then this course is ideal for you.

Your Pension and the Public Sector Pension Remedy
Did you join the NHS pension scheme on or before 31st March 2012 and were still a member of the scheme on or after 1st April 2015? If your answer is yes it’s likely that you'll be part of the McCloud judgement remedy which resulted from the breach of age discrimination rules.
There are decisions for you to make but the good news is there is nothing immediate for you to do.
